ERROR WITH THE STREAM DATA. THERE ARE NO READINGS IN THE LAST 24 HOURS. THIS IS NOT MY FAULT GO COMPLAIN AT THE GOVERNMENT.

The stream is currently [data loading], trending [data loading] over the last week. Over the last day, the trend is [data loading]
Stream flow data missing in last day so trend cannot be calculated - not my issue.
Average river level today: [data loading]
Due to limitations on the Defra service used, data for each day only becomes available 2 days later.
Soon to come: a more accurate weighted average, taking into account catchment area and distance upstream. If you are interested, click the button below to view the rainfall basin map.

Data information
The stream flow and level data used is measured around Kingston Bridge, obtained from the Environment Agency Real Time flood-monitoring API.Trend calculation is currently purely based off previous data - for example, the trend over the week is calculated as the difference between the average flow in 24 hours a week ago vs the last 24 hours.
Rainfall data is measured at 58 different stations in or near the Thames river basin catchment area above Teddington Lock (although the number of actually functioning stations is lower and varies). This data is provided by the Defra Hydrology Data API.
